Someday That’ll Be Me
Years ago, in my late 20s,
I was racing circle track
and already deep into building a business.
I made a decision back then—
if I didn’t step away from racing,
I wouldn’t be able to build
the future I wanted.
Around that same time,
I started noticing something.
Pickup trucks.
Aluminum trailers.
A Porsche tied down in the back.
Extra wheels stacked up.
They were coming back from tracks like VIR
after full weekends of running.
And I remember thinking:
“Someday that’ll be me.”
Not as a dream—
but as a target.
Years went by.
Work came first.
Priorities stayed in line.
And one day,
without really announcing itself,
it became reality.
Truck. Trailer. Porsche. Track weekends.
The exact picture
I used to see on the road.
Now it’s not something I look at—
it’s something I live.
GTCO comes from that place.
